Our busy dental practice is looking to add a Registered Dental Hygienist to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience during their visits. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Days include Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and every second Friday. No evenings or weekends.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take dental X-rays.
Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other dental issues.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontics and pediatrics as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

Experience

A valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Experience with Power Practice software is preferred but not mandatory.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous.
