We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of oral health, and promoting preventive dental practices. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education and comfort, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Tuesday 9am - 5 pm, Wednesday 11am - 7 pm and 2 Saturdays 9 am-4 pm

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
Assist in managing patient records, including medical history and treatment notes.
Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for patients, including those requiring orthodontics or pediatric care.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Skills

Proficiency in using dental practice management software.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience working in a dental office setting, with knowledge of procedures and protocols.
Excellent customer service skills to foster strong relationships with patients.
Previous experience in dental assisting is an advantage.
