Requirements

Current registration with the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists (ACDH)
Registered Dental Hygienist license for Alberta
DCS / DEC (required)
Exceptional customer service skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work well with others and independently
Excellent attendance record
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Experience in managing patients during dental hygiene procedures
Ability to perform dental radiography
Knowledge of infection control standards
Experience with scaling and root planing services
Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene strategies
Willingness to learn and flexibility to adapt to changes
Maintaining a sterile and organized working environment
Accurate and efficient electronic chart entry
Experience with patient health history review and diagnosis of oral health issues
Must have a reliable car and be willing to travel or relocate to Smoky Lake
Preferred experience in utilizing disclosing solutions and providing supplementary services like desensitizing agents and sealants
