We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and patient care, with a commitment to providing exceptional service in a friendly and professional environment. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting good dental hygiene practices, educating patients, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
Assist in the management of patient flow within the office to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for orthodontics and pediatric patients.
Provide excellent customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patients.
Stay updated on the latest dental practices, technologies, and medical terminology.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using ABEL Dent software is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
