We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during treatments. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software and maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided.
Provide support in various dental procedures, including orthodontics, as necessary.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in medical terminology.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient communication.
Previous experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus but not mandatory.
