Requirements
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
- Up to date with all necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong patient records keeping
- Ability to educate patients and families on dental disease and procedures
- Experience with general/preventative hygiene services (scaling, fluoride application, polishing)
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans
- Proficient in recording treatments and maintaining patient records in compliance with CDHO guidelines
- Experience with radiography/imaging techniques compliant with HARPA legislation
- Preferred experience with ABELDent, Itero, and VixWin software; openness to learning new systems
