Requirements
- Dental Hygienist License (preferred)
- Conduct dental cleanings and exams
- Assess individual patient needs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
- Perform oral cancer screenings
- Take X-rays
- Use the Itero Scan for orthodontic consultations and appliances
- Conduct medical history and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with the dental team
- Sterilization of tools and operatory
- Accurate billing through dental software
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in dental assisting is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting
- Learning Cleardent and billing proficiency
