We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring patient comfort during their visits. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Collaborate with the dental team to manage appointments and follow-up care.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and staff.
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient interactions.
Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus but not required.
Dental assisting experience can be beneficial in understanding the workflow of the practice.
