We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health and document findings in patient records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience, addressing any concerns or questions.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience working in a dental office setting, with knowledge of office protocols.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Strong customer service skills to interact positively with patients of all ages.
Understanding of orthodontics procedures and terminology is beneficial.
Previous experience in dental assisting is an advantage.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse patient population.
