Requirements

Active Dental Hygienist License (College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario Registration)
Relevant education from a recognized university in a relevant discipline
3-5 years of oral health experience, preferably in a community setting
Experience in developing and delivering oral health education programs
Experience with diverse populations including immigrants, refugees, seniors, and individuals with low/no income
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficiency in dental software applications such as PS Suites, Abel dent, and Oral Health Information Support System (OHISS)
Ability to maintain accurate client records and participate in quality assurance activities
Commitment to continuing education and professional development
Knowledge of community health centre operations is an asset
