Requirements

Active membership with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
Fluent in English
Dental Hygienist License (preferred)
Experience in performing clinical dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling and root planning, sealant application, and fluoride treatments
Ability to take, develop, and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays)
Skill in reviewing medical and dental history to assess patient risk factors
Experience in documenting dental history and treatment plans
Knowledge of proper oral hygiene techniques and ability to educate patients
Team collaboration skills with dentists and other staff
Ability to sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean operatory
Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Excellent communication and computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Speaking Hindi and Punjabi would be an asset
