Requirements

Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
Registered as a Dental Hygienist and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
Experience in clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
Ability to educate patients on oral health and preventative techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with modern dental technologies such as digital X-rays and dental lasers (preferred)
Willingness to participate in continuing education and professional development
