College diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent education
1 to 2 years of clinical experience
Ability to conduct initial dental assessments
Proficient in taking dental impressions
Skills in instructing patients on oral hygiene practices
Experience in cleaning and stimulating gums to prevent gum disease
Ability to apply fluoride treatments
Competence in removing stains and deposits from teeth
Skilled in taking, developing, and mounting X-rays
Knowledge in diagnosing type and severity of dental diseases
Experience in performing routine extraction of teeth
Ability to fill cavities
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
