We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team for Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in the dental office by performing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality treatment.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed to protect teeth.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosis.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions regarding treatments.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus but not required.
Strong customer service skills are essential for building rapport with patients and ensuring their comfort during visits.
