About the position: The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide surveillance and the full range of clinical oral hygiene services to the communities served by Grand Erie Public Health. Specifically, the incumbent will provide services to selected target groups of children and adults.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Graduated from a two (2) year college program, or other approved program in dental hygiene.
Must possess current registration with the College of Dental Hygiene to practice in Ontario.
Must possess a current CPR certification and Hepatitis B immunization is also required.
Recent clinical experience
Self-initiation designation is an asset
Abilities to lift and transport heavy equipment
A valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle access.
The ability to speak a second language is an asset.
An understanding of public health practices is an asset.
The ability to provide effective dental services in a variety of settings.
Required to have full COVID-19 immunization and are able to provide evidence of status.

Terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the CUPE 4700 Collective Agreement.

Starting wage range: $33.36/hr – $41.65/hr. Opportunity to opt in to OMERS pension plan.
