We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Utilize dental software (such as Open Dental) to document patient information and treatment plans accurately.
Collaborate with dentists to provide optimal patient care, including orthodontic treatments when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Skills

Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, showcasing familiarity with office protocols.
Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families.
Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable, ensuring comfort and care for younger clientele.
