Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Valid registration as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
5 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist, with specific experience in orthodontics preferred
Experience with various orthodontic appliances, such as braces, retainers, and aligners required
Strong understanding of orthodontic procedures and appliances
Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures to patients
Ability to work effectively as part of an orthodontic team
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient care effectively
CPR certification (preferred)
Experience with digital radiography (preferred)
Participation in ongoing professional development and continuing education
