We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and support.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in Dentrix.
Manage patient flow and ensure a positive experience in the dental office.
Collaborate with the dental team to implement effective treatment strategies.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Bilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance patient communication.
Experience in dental assisting is a plus, providing a well-rounded understanding of the practice.
Proficiency with Dentrix software for efficient patient management.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with orthodontics procedures and practices is beneficial.
Experience working in a dental office setting, particularly with pediatrics, is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
