How It Works?

Throughout our interview process, we will ask you the regions (Windsor to Chatham) and hours you'd be interested in working. We then receive calls from dental practices to fill hygiene hours at their practices (sick days, vacations, long-term absences). If they align with your availability, we then contact you to fill the gaps in their schedule. Giving you the control and flexibility you desire in your career.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records using dental software's, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid provincial license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in dental assisting duties is an asset.
Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare setting.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient interactions.
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
