Requirements

Active Dental Hygiene License registered with the C.D.H.O
Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
Valid CPR Certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Tracker dental software considered an asset
1+ year experience with medical terminology
Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care
Skills in clinical preventative hygiene services such as scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
Strong patient relationship building skills
Experience as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling
