We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through preventative care and education. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences in a friendly and professional environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary.
Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately using Dentrix or similar software.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Provide support in orthodontic procedures when required, especially for pediatric patients.

Skills

Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques and practices.
Strong understanding of Medical Terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent Customer Service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Experience or knowledge in Orthodontics is a plus.
Familiarity with Dentrix software for patient management is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience and understanding in Pediatrics.
Experience working in a Dental Office setting is advantageous.

Pay: $35.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
