Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and ensuring patient comfort
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as necessary
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently

Skills:

Dental Assisting: Proficient in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing support as needed
Invisalign: Familiarity with iTero products and the ability to assist with Invisalign treatments
Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide a positive experience for patients and address their concerns
Cleardent: Experience using Cleardent software for scheduling, record keeping, and billing
