We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team for 3 days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (preferable). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and contributing to a positive dental experience for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and collaboration with the dental team.

Position available starting June.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients.
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and document findings accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with dentists to provide high-quality care, including assisting during procedures when necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Experience

Previous experience in dental hygiene or a similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for accurate documentation and communication within the dental team.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract. Contract length: 12 months.

Pay: $33.73 - $48.19 per hour.

Expected hours: 22 – 26 per week.
