We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and educating patients on oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety within the practice.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and assess patients' periodontal health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including orthodontics and pediatrics.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in dental assisting/hygiene and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
Knowledge of orthodontics and experience working in a dental office setting is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
