We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct oral health assessments and document patient histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the application of preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including orthodontic assessments when necessary.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills

Proficient in pediatrics and comfortable working with children in a dental setting.
Experience in a dental office environment, demonstrating knowledge of daily operations.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Pay: $48.00-$52.00 per hour
